Racing simulator lounge — West Linn, OR
Kartcade

A premium racing simulator lounge in West Linn, Oregon — built to bring sim racing into a social, walk-in setting for the local community. The area is short on fun, distinctive things to do, and the cost of a top-tier home rig has long put the experience out of reach for casual fans. Kartcade closes both gaps with professional-grade hardware available by the hour with friends, in a space designed around the experience itself.
This is a solo build, end-to-end. The build started in March 2025 and the doors opened five months later in August. I designed the Kartcade brand and visual identity (logo, type, color, environmental graphics), drew the floor plan and ran the full remodel to match it, assembled every PC and cockpit, configured the hardware and software stacks, designed and built the website and booking platform, and hired, trained, and deployed the operating team. The current focus is a multi-channel marketing program to spread awareness across the region.
